That's pretty simple:
First Saturday of March is Improv Day.
You'll be able to find near your place an improvised event.
From Paris to Marseille, from Australia to Canada, many improvisers have already joined this great gathering of all forms of improvisational theatre: from traditional Theatresports through Improv-Comedy or Long-Form Improv... there will be something for everyone!
But always with a key principle: create on the spot, from little if anything.
All these events happen simultaneously, but not in one place, as to form a giant show, multiple, unique and ephemeral, of which you'll be one of the looks.
Watch below all the events:
LIPAIX (Improvisation League of Aix-en-Provence, France) launched the idea in June 2014
First with a few neighboring leagues, then nation wide... until the idea quickly crossed the borders by its universality and simplicity.
When "Les Bonimenteurs" (Popular French improvisers) came in as event sponsor, it added a real credit to this project and helped give it a new spotlight.
Limited to improvisation theatre field for now, its opening is nevertheless already declared to other arts that may arise on the spot (drawing, painting, dance, music...) and should lead the event to take even more breadth in the years to come.
